Slush isn’t just another tech event, it’s a movement. What began in 2008 as a 250-person gathering has evolved into the world’s leading startup conference, uniting European founders, top investors, and global tech media.
At its core, Slush exists to help and create founders who change the world. The event is still organized by students and recent graduates, with more than 1,600 volunteers powering it each year. This passion-driven approach has made Slush a true launchpad, 15% of its alumni have gone on to found their own companies, including Miki Kuusi (Wolt, Deliveroo, Doordash) and Andreas Saari (Paebbl).
Owned by the Startup Foundation, Slush reinvests its profits into grants and programs that strengthen the startup ecosystem and fuel the next generation of founders.
